Hate to use this phrase, but "Ditto", on both counts, especially the
"Griz'".

I'm still a big fan of "Hound Dogs" for any pro hoops or gridiron team
in Memphis, but too many of our local folks are embarrassed by such an
idea. It was suggested when Fred Smith and friends were contending to
land an NFL team for the city ... which leads me to another,
almost-as-silly name, The Tennessee (well, really, Nashville) Titans.

Danica ain't "juiced" is she?

When I was a boy, in Minnesota, George Miken and the Lakers were in
Minneapolis, literally (from Ojibway and Greek) the "Lake City." The
name survived the trip to that hot, dry, concrete place called Los
Angeles. The only names more ridiculous are the Utah Jazz.

And the Memphis Grizzlies.

Red wings and little boats, sounds like a picnic "down by the river".

Pretty funny, Bill.

Go Red Sox! Nice 2-hit shutout!

Go Fever!

What are red wings? Spicy appetizers?

What are Lakers? Canoeists?
