Wouldn't another option be to set your environment as you wish? I believe
the documentation on scratch files refers to the environment setting.

In Marc case the environment is most likely set to "E:" /....temp.... No
issue if set properly in advanced settings.

As for logical drives I think that is now like a Oxymoron, it is not logical
anymore so I like Lun '0' Lun '1' etc.. New computers using on-board
boost memory etc. Logical Drives? I can provide a pdf from Intel on the
subject to anyone that wish to have a copy. Just send a private email. It
caused me a pain in the head +++! Just a heads-up and JM.02

Sincerely,

Paul D.

Holy cow! I wasn't aware that you couldn't have C as the first logical
hard drive!

I did run into a problem with one office using C\Temp for the Scratch
setting.
This pinhead tech set up this computer with the HD as the E drive and the
USB port as C!

They had to have a memory stick in the USB port to get my app to work.
