Razzak, I will look over that document again. The date time stamps are RB80IO.DLL 1/11/2010 8:00 AM RBENGINE8.DLL 1/11/2010 8:00 AM RBThemes.dll 1/11/2010 8:00 AM

Jan, If you have applied the latest updates, including the Help and PDF updates, you will find the following document in the installation folder. . RBASETurboV8forWindows_GettingStartedGuide.pdf Chapter 2 covers anything and everything related to installation and setup. In addition to all files in your compiled application folder, and the "-A" parameter for your application "compiledapp.exe -A", did you place the RB80IO.DLL in the same folder as well? If yes, what is the time stamp on "RB80IO.DLL" file? If no, make sure to include the exact RB80IO.DLL that was bundled with the latest updates of Turbo V-8 and R:Compiler for Turbo V-8. The time stamp on "RB80IO.DLL" must match with "RBENGINE8.DLL". On a side note, if the same Turbo V-8 database is being used with Oterro 8.0, make sure that you are also using the current version and updates of Oterro 8.0. When Turbo V-8 and Oterro 8.0 are used together, both versions and updates MUST use the same build. After completing the checklist and verifying everything, if you still encounter the random I/O errors, I will have to come and see the whole setup the next time I am visiting the State folks in your neighborhood. I will be training them with their new R:BASE eXtreme 9.0 (64) project and application, scheduled to go live soon. Very Best R:egards, Razzak.
