Paul, thank you very much for the info... but it doesn't resolve my problem.
I understand how I can use a blob to add a image to a database row. However, my problem is that I have to be able to make annotations to the image and then save it in the BLOB. As far as I can see, the Rbeditor doesn't allow to add text/drawings to an image and then save it. Or am I missing something ? Luc D. On double-click the image opens in e.g. Photodraw/paint, I can edit the image, make annotations and then save it as the OLE embedded image in the database, without altering the original image.
