Otherwise do I just use Courier New? >> No, there are plenty of fixed-width fonts. Look for the word "Console" as part of the name, that's usually a tip-off that the font is fixed-width. Lucida Console is a generally available Microsoft-supplied Windows console font supposedly optimized for screen use. -- Larry
