Hi Daniele, Depending the Windows 64 version (win 2003 64 - win xp 64 - win vista 64 - win 7 64 - win 2008 64 or win 2008 r2 64) it is possible to run 32 bit software on windows 64 in 32 bit compatible mode.
If there is buget I would sugest to update the R:BASE software from 6.5 to the latest release 9.0 or 91 64 bit to benefit from both new features and more memory support of Win 64 systems.
