I sent this earlier but failed to mention that part of the report is a sub report.
I create a view as the master table. This view includes the col Partnum. My second view I use for the sub report. This also includes the col Partnum. I got this to work by putting it in the detail section of the master. When running the report I want the information from the sub report to make it so the Partnum items that are the same do not show. I use the component ID for this. The error says there is no col or variable Partnum. I can't figure why this comes up when it is obvious the col is there. James Belisle
