Mohammed:  That's brilliant!   I never thought of approaching it that way.
I can see real benefits in that the monitor doesn't have to be attached to
the
database.

we have approached it differently for our production floors where we show
hourly data for Production and Packing which keep changing hourly and we
rotate multiple reports using windows Screen saver where you can set the
time between different JPG files
from outr server we are generating reports and save them as JPEG format
through windows Scheduler and then copy the files to the computer which is
running the Screen saver
this way the PC showing the data does not even have to be continously
connected to the Database
