A far-away client got some new Windows 7 desktops and have re-installed RBase windows 7.6 on those workstations (they still have some XP workstations). I wasn't involved, all this was a surprise to me to learn (I don't do much with this client). According to my notes, RBase was installed locally on each workstation and is not on the server. I'm assuming that's what they did on the windows 7 workstations too.
Ever since those workstations went up, they're complaining of slow database speed, lots of 'access violation' to the rbase .dll.... I haven't seen any postings addressing this. Anyone have something I can troubleshoot? With a normal workstation installation, I'm assuming that the dlls were placed in the windows subdirectory -- could that be the problem? Karen
