CHKVAR will only take a quoted string, not a dotted variable, so I had
to write the code this way.
I cannot put this in a while loop
it does not like the &vVarDataCmd
it says Unrecognized command in entry/exit procedure.
the same code works in a goto loop, but that is too slow.
Any blues clues?
