Once you go to STATICDB and such it becomes an important issue. It is important to understand what files RBase uses and where they are located. The cfg file is a case in point since it stores the userid among other items. If RBase can't find it and creates one for you the default options may conflict with those you have customized and cause a lot of head scratching trying to debug an application problem. R:BASE Config file sets the default settings for R:BASE environment and much more ... If R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (32/64) is installed using the default option, the configuration file (RBENGINE95_32.CFG or RBENGINE95_64.CFG) is installed in the \Windows folder. Search the drive for RBENGINE95_32.CFG or RBENGINE95_64.CFG file to see the exact location.
