While a casual, seasonal, or part-time R:BASE user(s) may not care, a thorough knowledge and the understanding of R:BASE Configuration file should be important when using and handling R:BASE on a regular basis, or when your livelihood depends on R:BASE! In addition to default Display, CHARACTER, DATE, TIME settings, the R:BASE configuration file also includes the settings for Multi-User Operation, Environment Settings, Startup File, Key Map Definitions, and most importantly the Case table, Collating table, Folding table, Expansion characters, Lcfold table, and the Case sensitive collating table as well.
