I missed to copy the Rmail95.CFG file after the changes to C:\RBTI\RBG95_64.

Done!!.. beautiful tool. Without SMTP local server, only with Gmail using my
domain name.
Thanks R:Base

Anyone using external SMTP server with Windows 2012 Server and R:Mail 9.5?

Really I need to setup a local "Virtual SMTP Server"?
Thanks,
Juan

Thanks Razzak,

The test in R:Mail Setup respond:
Connection Established

Response from SMTP Server:
250 mx.google.com at your service

Searching answer I found this from Internet: "Which means that you can’t use
external SMTP servers (say Google or Yahoo) for sending email from Windows,
you will always have to have your OWN SMTP server like Exchange server or
other 3rd party Software. But if you have IIS 6.0 (or 5.0 I think) installed
in a system you can use a feature called “Virtual SMTP Server” which can be
used as … any guess ?? … yup, A SMTP Server!"

I don't know if you or anyone utilize Windows 2012 with R:Mail 9.5 (remote)
(unfortunately I don´t have a local R:mail license to test locally), with a
external SMTP server (like Gmail)? I want some other options before try the
"Virtual SMTP Server" solution.

Regards.

Juan,

Without knowing all details, including the fire wall settings, etc., while
logged in as Remote Desktop Client on your Windows 2012 server, try using
the "Test Connection" and see what you get.

That simple test alone should provide you with some blue's clues ...

Very Best R:egards,
