I believe you can use a speed button but I think the exit eep in the scrolling region will not fire. You might have to add to the button eep to go to another field so the scrolling region exit eep will fire.

I have a form with a scrolling region and each dbedit field in the region has an On Exit EEP defined. I have a bit button outside the region that runs an On Click EEP and closes the form.
