Thanks to everyone that responded. Your confirmation that it should work as expected pointed me towards looking at the On Exit EEP’s in the debedit fields. The final field had a Saverow command in the On Exit. By moving it to the On Click of that field I get the results I need and the bit button only needs to be selected once.

Clicking on a speed button to do a CloseWindow did not prevent the dbEdit onExit eep from firing and it only required one click. Of course it is not possible to replicate the exact code he has in the onExit for a simple test, so therein may lie the issue?? You might have to add to the button eep to go to another field so the scrolling region exit eep will fire. Because when you're tracing I've seen that happen all the time, that you have to click twice. But not at runtime. Karen -----Original Message----- From: Paul Buckley <[email protected]> To: karentellef <[email protected]> Sent: Thu, Mar 10, 2016 1:49 pm Subject: [RBASE-L] - Problem Having to Click a Bit Button Twice Good Afternoon, I'm having a brain freeze; I'm running the latest eXtreme 9.5-64. I have a form with a scrolling region and each dbedit field in the region has an On Exit EEP defined. I have a bit button outside the region that runs an On Click EEP and closes the form. If my focus is on any field in the scrolling region and I select the bit button to close the form I have to select it twice. What am I missing? Thanks in advance, Paul Buckley
