Dr. R>,

This list is the best thing since sliced bread, and I doubt there are
many who have benefited from it more than I. RBTI has also done
what, imho, is the smart thing in cleaning up some very old bugs in
a methodical and meticulous way.

It's the no-mans land in between that's the bug in the pudding.
Like you said, "three years and cooking". RBTI can't, and
shouldn't be expected to, correct all of Microrim's bugs overnight
(we're still seeing 'squashed' reports now), let alone new ones that
may crop up.

Having embarrassed myself more than once on the list with what I
_thought_ was a bug, I now spend hours, maybe days, maybe
more ... before coming here with it. As well, I've posted bugs here
with no response, but found out later that RBTI had already been
hard at work on it. If I had the opportunity to search a knowledge
base at the first sign of trouble I would hope to avoid a _lot_ of
wheel spinning.

my $.02
