Otterro and Owner Password

I have a database that I have an owner password so that the employees aren't
able to change the database definitions,etc.

I have Otterro 2000 and I have attempted to connect to the database in
Excel. Unless I set both the User and the Password to the Owner Password,
there is no connection allowed to the database.

I do not want to give the employees the owner password so that they can make
definition changes and some table data changes. What to do?

Any help would be appreciated.
