They do offer (for free!) some kind of SDK for the
product, which they say is for developing "custom
solutions" both for internal use and for resale.  It
sounds like that SDK would let you control the program
via R:Base UDFs if you care to do a bit of C
programming.

The same company offers something called PDF Factory
which I presume is an alternative to Distiller. 
However, the newer versions of RBWin give you pretty
substantial control over setting the printer from
inside R:Base -- so you ought to be able to select the
Distiller driver without user intervention.  You still
need to group the several reports into a single PDF,
but the SDK may help you out there.

(PS: I don't know anything about the product other
than looking at the web site, so I can't say for sure
whether it will do what you want).
