I've tested this on the lasted beta version of RBase 2000
v6.5++(1.840jxRT03).
It works fine using all in both the browse and edit commands but if you use
column names instead it doesn't.
I've seen Razzak's answer to your request and he states the use of ALL with
no mention of column names.
I don't think this is a bug but a limit to the set layout usage.
The Documentation states; "R:BASE saves layouts for single tables only. The
next time you display the table using the Data Browser, the layout of data
will be as you previously arranged it."
The key word here is "DISPLAY TABLE".
That tells me that it acts at a table level not column level! So the all is
need and using any column names it will not work!
By be someone at RBTI can expand on this thread about it's usage!
