Mike,

No, it is NOT a new feature for R:BASE for Windows.

Most likely a corrupt row(s)!

Try to enter a NEW row and see what happens.

Also, make sure to check:

01. RBASE.INI file in PATH, specifically for:

    MSGPath=C:\RBTI\RBWIN65
    HelpPath=C:\RBTI\RBWIN65
    CFGFile=C:\RBTI\RBWIN65\RBASE.CFG

02. Make sure that there is no other (prior version) 
    RBASE.CFG in PATH

03. SET NULL to -0- and see what happens

04. Check CHARacter SETtings for your database
