I agree that R:Base needs not be a client-server database.  If RBTI wastes
too much efforts and financial resources in trying to move the database to
client-server market and neglects its core product, we all lose too much.
Most of web-based database operations are so simple and straight forward
that MySQL, mSQL others can handle them easily.
