Hi Janet,
Rbase for DOS prints to
LPT1. It sounds like LPT1 is not connected to a printer port on your
machine.
You didn't say what operating
system your computer is using... Are you on NT or Win 9x? Or ME? or
2000?
On NT you can use the NET USE
command....
at a DOS prompt you could
type NET USE /?
and you'll see the
syntax.
On Win 9x you can right click
the printer icon and find a spot to capture the printer port. I forget the
details (I'm on NT) - something like go into the control panel and right click
on the printer you use, then look for the details page that has some button you
can click to capture a printer port.
If you're on ME, someone else
on this list can tell you what to do.
