As some of you may know, Bush Boake Allen was purchased from our previous owners almost a year ago by International Flavours And Fragrances. Since then consolidation of both company
's facilities has been taking place. The Walthamstow (East London, UK) site, where I have been based for over 27 years, is to close at the end of this year and I will be leaving the company at the end of this week. I have no immediate plans for the future except to take a break and work on converting my last R:Base database from Dos to Windows without having to interrupt my train of thought by coming to work! In order to be sure that the listserver e-mail is not undelivered, later today or tomorrow, I will remove my work identity from this list and revert to using solely my home e-mail for communicating with you all. Thank you to all those of you who have helped solve the few R:Base problems that BBA has had over the years. I now look forward to continuing to contribute to this list from a different perspective and helping in whatever small way that I can to making R:Base even better. Regards, Alastair.
