Also in win2000 you can change the lpt port to whatever you want. You are
not bound to particular port.

I have only one card in my computer and I assigned it lpt2:

The win2000 Net Use command may work for you It's supposed to be used to
redirect stuff through a network, but I've found it works on local machines
too.
