Frank

I just now got a way to answer you and will say the
same thing. I use this:

IF vg_user = 'JMCCORD' THEN
  ZIP NET USE LPT1 \\Tuftco1\HP4050_PRINTROOM
ENDIF

We only want a particular user setup to this printer
as you can see. I have found a flaw in this though. I
havent figured out how to reset the printer back to
LPT1 like I would in using the old capture command.

I have attempted to use the NET USE /DELETE command,
but I have not done a full blown test to see how it
works. It looks as if it is the way to go.

You can get more help at the 2000 dos prompt issueing
a NET USE /help | MORE command
