Sami,

It must be because of note padding.
When you add a note to the database it leaves some extra space in the note 
field in case you go and make small changes to the note, it does not have to 
move the record.
Now either lots of notes are getting small changes so when you do the 
re-load it is adding extra padding to the note, or maybee the padding 
setting got changed so it is adding more padding to every note.
