Hmmm ...At one time there was a limit to the number of  objects placed on
one form.  I have some questions:

1.  What version of R:BASE are you using?

2.  How many global variables do you have in memory before the form is
loaded?

3.  Do you have all 40+ buttons on the same page of this form?

4.  If you open the form in design mode, and click on each button, one at a
time, does the status bar always show the active table the form is based on?
