I don't know Simpro. But, it's usually safe to tell the customer that
"anything" can be converted. Lots of tools in Rbase to attached or import
from a DBF file, CSV, comma or tab delimited. I've even had to go to a
spreadsheet first and then to RBase. Recently, I converted a system which
intentionally provided no export capability and we ended up printing the
key tables to DOS Print files. A little messy, but it worked. There is also
some s/w desgined specifically to handle conversion challanges.

The key points I ususally make are:
- Let the customer know up front it will never be 100%
- There will always be some "apples and oranges" depending on the "to" data
base and how close tables and columns match the "from" data base.
- Go over the quality of the data in the "from" data base with the
customer. No need to break your neck converting inaccurate data or portions
of the old system that aren't being used.

Good Luck
