Well, whether or not it's time to learn and use Stored Proc's, and I am soliciting feedback on that topic, the ERROR MESS above was totally my fault. I just happened to be in RBEDIT and, much like Columbus, just happened to land in the right place - I found a set of un-balanced paren's.
