G'day Alastair, Bill Cook's suggestion is a good one. I have one called TextBlocks and it is very handy to be able to give users the ability to add or modify text data for hire agreements etc, without have to use the report writer.
Another technique I use is to copy a report to a new name, sometimes on the same table\view, sometimes different, to save recreating the basics. Everything common can be saved, only the differences deleted or added. For this purpose I have a report set up that is a template.
