Okay, this is probably due to a fault in my code, based on my ignorance of
what I would probably consider an item of esoterica, but, since it's
throwin' me the err-msg below, it ain't esoterica but possibly critical to
my success.

Can anybody point me in the right direction as to what I should be looking
for? I don't think it's as simple as leaving off a close-paren or a
dangling "END%", but I could be wrong. If it's not, then what might it be?
Additionally, it doesn't happen everytime and I can't yet find a scenario
which gives me clues as to its predictability, which would then lead me to
its correction.
