Ok, I am getting very frustrated here. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
I am trying to make a report based on a view. The view has 4 tables in it
and it opens just fine ad displays the correct data. The report however
(no matter how many different versions I make of it) behaves VERY
strangely. It tells me I have things placed outside the margins (even if I
delete everything off the report) I place columns on the report save it and
run it and they are there... then I open it to edit it and they are gone...
If I close it without resaving it (making no change) the report no longer
has the column. The third thing that is going wrong is that I cannot make
the breakpoints stay together. The breakheader, detail, breakfooter should
not come apart over a page end, but they do.

Using version 6.5 Windows R:base.
Could it have ANYTHING to do with long column names? My tables and
subsequent columns have long names, and I know that I ran into trouble with
long names before when the first 10 characters are the same.
FRRepGroupNum
FRRepGroupDescription
FRRepGroupCode
etc...

Any thoughts?
(quick before all my hair is pulled out)
