<< It would have to be done with code, and I haven't ever created a view with code yet. >> Dan. If you haven't created one with code yet, I'll pass on a little tip. This only works with a Windows version, so if you don;t have the windows version, it won't help. This doesn't work due to the limitation of Dos, and not RBase. When you go into the query screen, create the vies, and then save it. When you come out of the query screen, press the [Page Up] key, and the code RBase generated to create the view is there. <g> A [Cntl]-c combination will copy it to the scratch pad, and you can paste it into a text editor with a [Cntl]-v. Then you can play to your hearts content with the code, the syntax is there for you to see and work with. I use it with VEdit all the time, it works with Word, Word Pad, and all of that. I will assume it works with the RBase editor, but I haven't tried it, because I seldom use it. It will also work at the R> prompt as well. Page up until you find the end of the line you want to copy, [Cntl]-c to copy, then a [Cntl]-v to paste, and it will paste it right onto the command line. Makes life a LITTLE simpler. I'd love to take credit for this, but Sami posted it to the list for me several years ago, when I had similar issues. I hope it helps, and a thanks to Sami for posting it several years ago.
