The problem is leaving downtown Pittsburgh toward the airport, which is due West from the city. The conference is East of the city, in Monroeville. If you are driving in from the North, take I-76 to the East, and you'll avoid any problem. Get off at the Monroeville exit. I am driving from the West, across Ohio on I-70, and what I will do is pass south of Pittsburgh on 70, then take I-76 (Penn Turnpike) North or West up to Monroeville. >From the South, coming up I-79, you could also take I70 East and I-76 North. (If RBTI people know a better way around Pittsburgh on the south edge, jump in.) Anybody driving from the East across the Turnpike just get off at Monroeville, and don't worry about the tunnel. You won't have to go anywhere near it.
