Bernie,

CON is ambiguous because it is the beginning of CONNECT, 
CONTINUE, CONTAINS, and CONSTRAINT, all of which are key 
words, and two of which are the first word/key word of a command. I'm 
not sure this is a case where there is a "fix." 

CON works and is understood as a CONNECT command at the R> 
prompt, I think partly as an accident of alphabetical order. If 
CONTINUE came before CONNECT alphabetically, it wouldn't work.

Similarly, FIL could be the beginning of FILES,. FILL, or FILLIN.
