>When a TIMEOUT occurs, a command file can be run; however, >the command file cannot include a FILLIN or DIALOG command, >or expect a keystroke. If you want to run a command file >when a TIMEOUT occurs, you need to store the name of the >file in a variable called RBTI_TimeOut. But I do NOT want a command file to be run when it times out. I simply want it to exit RBase. I have a standalone command file running that is always sitting at a DIALOG command when the program is not doing something. After a set time, I want the program to simply EXIT RBase when sitting idle at the DIALOG command. I don't want it to run a command file. As far as documentation reads, a simple 'SET TIMEOUT 60' SHOULD exit RBase if it is sitting at a DIALOG command just waiting for a keystroke, shouldn't it? I just tested this -- it works in the DOS version of 6.5++, but not the windows.
