On any given day, the nine or ten records shown on the screen are sufficient
for that time period, but when they are busy, they may have up to five
screens of data to scroll through that is critical.

On a given day (or other appropriate period of time) is the number of
sorties fixed?  Perhaps worded differently, over what span of time does the
data range that the mission-planners/controllers and/or ATC's need to
review?  I figure that there's limited airspace and time-over-target, so
that w/in, say, 1 hour, only so many ingresses/egresses can be scheduled,
much less executed.

I'm not even trying to offer suggestions yet, but, depending on your
answers, I recall something I did way back around 1987 or so that, in
principle, might have application here.
