HI all

I just bought a new computer with Win XP. It is
version 5.1 Build 2600 ????? 010827-1803. I am
using RBWin 6.5++ 1.851xRTO3.

Since we switched to XP, RBWin is doing some strange
things and we have had more crashes in 1 1/2 days with
XP than we have had in 98 in the past year. Nothing
in my app has changed in the past month or so. The
only difference is XP.

1) We have had about 10 RBG.exe errors and we get
kicked out of RBWin. We can not duplicate getting
kicked out, it just seems to happen every so often.

2) We have a Menu Form with Buttons on it. One button
pulls up a form with a region on it. When we click on
this Button the form pops up on top of the Menu Form.

But, if we click the same Button on a different form (
apt book) that runs the same command file as above the
pop up form goes behind the apt book form. If we
close the apt book, we can see the pop up form.

Now, if we get back into the apt book form and click
on that same button the pop up form pops up on top of
the apt form!

3) The first time I try to print a report to LPT1 by
clicking a button that runs a command file. The
report gets printed to the screen behind the form I am
in. If I close that form, get rid of the report on
the screen and try again the report goes to the
printer.

It is like XP screws up the first try but on the
second time you run the procedure it works as
expected.

These buttons / command files have been working as
expected in 98 for a long, long time.

I wonder is it possible to upgrade my RBW app back to
DOS!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks
marc
