May be a bit dense, here, but setting lines and width not the challenge. How can
I get the new settings in place, in a maximized window, without clicking the
closure and re-opening of R> screen? Without altering rbase.cfg. For example,
I've created a file at command line in my shortcut which set lines and width as
desired and executes maximize, but, in order for settings to become effective, I
must close the initial r>window, repeat the maximize command, and then the lines
and width settings are effectual. Looking for a way to bypass the click of open
and close initial window - want it automated. Again, probably lacking a basic
understanding here, if someone can set me straight - appreciate it!

Regards,
Brad
