Thanks Myron, Dennis, Razzak & Lawrence

In my case a permanent table would have grown the db to an enormous size in
no time and then have needed reloading or packing to reduce it again. If the
temp table had not worked I would probably have to have created a permanent
table and loaded it with enough rows to allow me to edit the rows using
update rather than adding rows. It could have been done but there would be
bound to be a time when I needed a new row and that was just too much effort
to program for!

I agree with Lawrence & Dennis, and others, temp tables are magic!

Razzak, just in case anybody thinks it's ok to use temp tables in EEPs
regardless, is this something that has been added to the recent betas? If
so, they might find it doesn't work for them until the patch is available.

Regards,
Alastair.
