The reason being that all we are doing is pulling out the TIME
portion of the DATETIME value. Therefore, the DATE differences
do not come into play.

For that, you would follow Bill's example of:

SET VAR vLapsedSeconds INT = (.vDateTime2 - .vDateTime1)

Then, take your result (in seconds), and divide by 3600 to get
hours, or utilize the MOD function to get hours and the remaining
minutes and seconds.

This will result in the total difference between the two DATETIME
arguments.

Steve's original question dealt only with time, so that is why I
used the TEXTRACT function.
