I've reviewed your responses and have done a great deal of testing!

Found the problem!

The original 2.11 DB had two columns that where illegally named!
Those were changed but they were also in every report!
Not changing the reports at the 2.11 level with the new name was the
cause!
I corrected the reports with the new column name!
Then update via both windows 6.5 and Dos 6.5.
Both paths work just fine!
