Bernie,

If the View is defined properly, it should be treated as table when
designing a Report/Label in R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++).

It is very difficult to understand your situation without knowing/seeing
the actual definition of view.

Make sure that IDQUOTES setting for your database is SET to `. i.e.,
single reversed quote underneath the tilde ~ key.

To understand the concept of creating reports based on a View, take
a look at the report named "Invoice" in Concomp sample database
shipped with R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++).

The report "Invoice" is based on a view "ProdAlias".

The View "ProdAlias" is the result of five (5) tables, namely:
. TransMaster
. TransDetail
. Customer
. Employee
. Product

Good luck and make sure to have fun!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
