Razzak, in particular, and everybody in general: As far as I can see, having just looked back at the documentation, there doesn't _seem_ to be any general instruction to carry out the number 2 item on your list below (connect & reload).
Perhaps it would be a good idea to include any specific instructions of that sort in either the e-mail advising about a new beta or, better still, in the RBW65PP3.TXT file? My databases tend to get reloaded fairly regularly in any case so I don't think that I've been caught out but I will make point of doing a reload now of each of them. That said, I've hinted at problems (post: 12th Oct.) with a form rather like Tom Grimshaw described in his follow-up e-mail. I've not reported it because I can't "reliably replicate" it to my satisfaction that there is something wrong rather than me doing it wrong. In my case what seems to be happening is that an eep run on leaving a field updates the table correctly - I know that because I slip in an "edit row from table" command immediately after the eep update and the row is changed correctly. However, when I get back to the form the original data is re-displayed. Depending on what I do next it appears that _sometimes_ (at least) R:Base updates the table again with the original data. I've tried including or excluding various combinations of recalc tables/variables and nextrow/prevrow but I haven't been able to pin it down except to the extent that other - less complicated - forms work fine. My conclusion from that is that _if_ there is an R:Base problem then it's to do with EEPs but it could very easily be me doing something silly that I just can't see. I mention it now only because Tom has raised a slightly similar problem. Regards, Alastair. ----- Original Message ----- From: "A.
