I believe Win 2K is similar to WIN 98, You need to go to:
Control panel> printers > select your printer, right click and select
properties
In the Details Tab you will see a button labeled "Capture Printer Port",
make sure that it is captured as LPT1

I didn't see any such check box.  I even installed a
second copy of the printer driver thinking it might
prompt me during the installation.
