I thought Zip cmd /c copy filename lpt1 from inside R:Base was exactly the same as Copy filename lpt1 from the CMD prompt. Is that not so? If not, what should I type from the command prompt? I don't want to be running R:Base, just Start | Run | CMD.EXE. -- Larry
