No, it's evaluated in H0, since that's break based on EmpID. The field is actually located in the Detail band. I tried moving the evaluation to the Detail band, same results. The sample report I'm printing has three pages with about 50 or 60 records displayed. The results are correct for every row except the first row of Employee 1924, where the EmpID value prints but the name is suppressed. -- Larry
