Changing Currency format interact with Delimiter settings (RBase 7.1.77.30908). International users have to change currency to support local currency and keyboard. To allow changes, they have first to change delimiter too. But changed delimiter settings produce problems with OTERRO access, also it's not possible to change Currency (->Delimiter) settings without changing programs and variable-lists.
Additional Discussion -------------------------- There was an inquiry to make Currency format dependent from Windows-Control-Panel settings, but this is dangerous. When two station with different settings connect to the same database, they will influence each other. Perhaps we get an UDF which set rbase-settings to control-panel-settings. So the developer is free to make it dependent of Windows or not. History --------- Status October: Have discussed this problem with Wayne Erickson. He think about a way to make the currency-format independent from delimiter, which means, that the same character could be used for currency and delimiter.
