You and me both! PC Magazine this week had a short review of a product
called the ADS Instant Music, for $59 list. www.adstech.com
It says "Got an attic full of vinyl LPs or cassette tapes? The <thingy above>
device and software let you easily convert your music from analog to digital
via your PC's USB port. The bundle includes all of the music capture,
conversion, editing and CD-publishing tools you'll need. Save the converted
digital audio files on your computer, burn them to a CD, or load them onto
your portable player..."
I'm thinking of getting it to grab my favorite songs from my LPs. If they
are marketing such a device, surely recording my own records can't
be illegal, can it?
Karen
I should do this as well, I have over 100 LPs (you do know what those are
<g>) left that I would like to convert to a digital format and clean up all
the noise...
Javier,
