Bridging requires a MAC device to emit frames with a source address other than its' own, doesn't it? None of the Solaris WIFI driver/device combinations permitted that when I tried (which is why VNICs are not permitted over WIFI). I believe this is because we operate the WIFI devices in 'client mode' only.
